Bob, a shareholder in the firm, is a founding partner in the firm. Bob has actively practiced in insurance defense work since being admitted to the Bar in 1982. He has extensive trial experience and has handled insurance coverage, products liability, automobile, trucking, homeowners, and professional liability claims such as engineering and architectural malpractice throughout Western Pennsylvania. He has handled to verdict multi-million dollar construction cases involving multiple parties and architectural issues. He has also handled to verdict serious bodily injury claims, including death and brain damage, arising out of construction issues, automobile accidents and homeowners’ insurance claims. He has also handled UM/UIM arbitrations as well as functioning as an arbitrator for such claims. Bob was elected to the Allegheny County Academy of Trial Attorneys. He graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and obtained his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law, Evening Division. He has lectured on civil procedure issues, insurance coverage and bad faith. He has also been qualified as a trial expert in bad faith litigation. He is an active member of insurance industry claims associations.
